Here it is, the FIRST PIECE, NUMERO UNO, CISLO JEDNE of the Alinco DR-03. HUGE THANKS to Maas-Elektronik and Markus Neuner (NeunerFunk) for finding me this radio, and getting it flown 1/2 way round the world to land on my desk. 10m radio, FM and from 26000-39995mhz when opened and all the quality that you expect from a HF radio, in the case of a small CB sized radio. 10w, 5w, 1w power setting, can be set up remote as a gateway, has TSQ/DCS squelch system, will do APRS you can add a theft alarm and indeed Its the Dogs if you know what i mean. Multi-Function Mike, electret, all things are changed here too including power, band, monitor, call-tones the lot. It will do it. Take a look, and more of this one next time. Maas-Elektronik, Neuner, Mega-Kom, HM-Funk all play there part in the channel here and without them, you do not see the goodies that are there if you ask, or are lucky to have great people around you that can help you. Thanks to all,,, especially Neuner who hunts many a radio for me just so see it before anyone else.

  • PC Programmed for the steps? No it cannot do that and indeed will be off on the UK40 but old times many used 360's and 148's and they ended at 0 so it sounds ok. It is a smart radio and the transmitted audio Fez is killer i can say, real excellent

  • I love the pro look of it. It would make a great radio to work gateways with the dtmf mic more advanced ones could be controlled.

    Any idea on possible price?

I was wondering pc programmable as some radios that don't do the step sometimes can be programmed into the memories with odd steps.

I guess 1.25k won't make alot of difference like you say.

I was suprised to see 8.3k step. :)

  • Sure the radio has the look, and indeed it works so well you cannot imagine. Thats one of the best parts about it. For price you need to drop Neuner Funk a message, this one was sourced for here and at request. Sadly no programming for the steps, and indeed 8.3 is a strange step to have. But, honestly this works like stink i can tell you Fez

  • Hello one question wher is possible to buy this alinco

  • sorry guys its 27.73125 thats what you get for youtubing in the bath

  • if you switch to 12.5khz step this radio will go to 27.74125 ch14 and 27.78125 ch 19 so if you store as channels in memory then switch vfo back to 5khz you have best of both worlds, works on mine give it a go if you get stuck i can do a video, remember cb deviation is 2.5khz so by being 2.5khz off frequency you are going to sound terrible
