I think hyde's english is much better than most japanese, especially among singers. and this is a 1998 performance, which means laruku has just started becoming one of the top artists/ band at that time, hyde's singing skill has much improved in later years

Even as it is a early thing from Hyde his english was pretty good back then already :) And concidering how difficult the english language is for Japanese this is very good. Listening to later stuff I am truly amazed by this man :)

His lower notes might turn people off, although any fans knows that it's his signature in the early days, typical hyde. But the high notes is clear and strong, amazing that he seemed to do it effortlessly. Shows much about what he lost over the years. But overall the present hyde has a better vocal technique though. And am i the only one who isn't impressed with the sax? Too much show off IMO.
