  • Do bottom brackets and chainrings come with the crank??? Thanks

  • @xConverttheillusionx

Yes it was a set, and came with the crank arms, bottom bracket, and spacers. It originally was a triply ring crank, I removed the stock rings and added a Salsa Ring.

  • @SetteExperience Oh pkay thanks. Can u buy the crank alone or do u have to/usually come in sets ? Thanks for the help

  • @xConverttheillusionx

You might be able to find it by itself, but keep in mind they are made to work together and you would need a compatible bb.

  • @SetteExperience okay so I'm looking at the raceface atlas fr crank ( only one chainring no f derailluer) with the race face bb would that work. ??? If u don't know that's okay I don't blame u or anything I'm jw. Thanks again tho

  • @xConverttheillusionx

You need a X-Type Race face bb. They come in 2 flavors Cross Country and Downhill. From what I see you can get the Atlas with the BB in Gold for 200 bucks.

  • How do you go about removing the same set of cranks?

  • HELP!! REMOVING the crank?? I have the EXACT same X-Type and RACE FACE crank pedal and the "2cm LONG" 15mm dia crank bolt (i.e. NOT the one with the removable extractor cap that the crank bolt would push against when unscrewed). All I have is the feeble ~21mm diameter thread in the crank arm. Do you just screw in a 21mm dia. “bolt” into the crank until it PUSHES against the 10 splined HOLLOW Crank shaft spindle? Will any ISIS crank extractor work? (i.e. do they have 21mm dia thread?)

  • thanks, this has been really helpful

  • How do you safely remove the crank from the bottom bracket without damaging anything?

  • Hes riding fire xc pro tyres those tyres to me where very average all rounders.

    Good grip in dry dirt.

    Bad grip in muddy conditions.

  • Trippy! Went out on my giant reign2 2008 today and the bottom bracket sounded like a fu**ing coffee grinder!!!! i'm amazed @ just how quick they screw up because the day before it felt like silk..Thanks for the upload boss, I know what i'm doing now

  • @SetteExperience oh wow thanks so much ... I'm stupid and was gonna buy the atlas Just like that and I never knew it came wth a bb. And I was gonna buy another bb... Well thanks again, it really helped!!
