I am 15 years old. Hopefully my generation will be remembered for Harry Potter and for keeping their minds open. I hope that this generation is remembered for advancing equailty and hopefully making some amazing scientific discoveries in the future. Unfortunately, I don't believe that this scenario is very likely. I go to school and hear the other students talk about Jersey Shore and Justin Bieber. Tis a bleak future. I don't pay much attention to most of the popular culture stuff.I haven't heard of Justin Bieber until I saw that his concert film was put in theaters. I didn't hear of Kim Kardashian until this year also. I am 18 so it might be considered weird, but I'm not interested in most of these things. I am tired of hearing about the new Twilight movie and Jersey Shore. Sissy vampires and the most annoying show ever. Ick.

The biggest problem of this generation, is that people can get famous too easily, as you have accurately stated. People like Rebbeca Black or Justin Bieber are being main-streamed across the whole globe and yes; completely brain-wash all the teenagers. Most of the people do not think, or speak out for themselves because they are being dictated by the media, and they do not see that. It's great to see that there are normal people just like you left on this world, and hopefully even more.
