  • The second tune is Leather Britches.

  • Great sounding guitar.

What is the name of the second tune you are playing please?

  • What's your opinion of the Santa Cruz

"Southern Jumbo" compared to this one?

  • richard hoover is definelty a great guy, i took took two tours with him (the owner of the business), and then was fortunate to talk my dad into buying a tony rice model, richard hoover is a stand up guy

  • Thanks. Think I will scrap my d-28....lol

  • I just picked one of these Tony Rice models the other day. Ended up taking it home with me. An awesome Bluegrass box! Lot's of volume and low end, but the midrange really cuts through, too. Best guitar I ever picked.

  • Just picked up one of these Santa Cruz's. It's a hoss!

  • i think its a dunlop jazztone.

  • I had a class from scott over the summer at the swannanoa gathering. i dont remember exactly what kind of pick he used but i remember it was monstrously thick (in the 2 mm neighborhood). possibly dunlop jazztones.

  • wouah!the great sound,i saw Scott playing with tim o brien and Mark Schatz in fribourg germany ,don't remember when, but unfergetable.. does anybody know what the pick Scott uses?

  • Anyone know the names of these tunes?
