Way back in November, Patrick Ogle showed us his deteriorating Harmony H165. He said that he was going to go have it fixed, and we were all like, "Yeah right, Patrick. That's what you always say."

Well, it looks like Patrick took some initiative and took his H165 to Third Coast Guitars where Chris Eudy checks out the missing brace and talks about what it would take to fix everything up.

  • This video is called "How to fix a guitar that's imploding". Did someone forget to include the instruction where we learn how to fix a guitar that's imploding?

  • owner of the shop should shut up and listen to the client

  • @burntvalve86 my h165 is solid mahogany... thats not cheap wood

  • @Chanthey are wonderful. they repaired my Parker

  • One of my back braces has came off but its not whole a bit of the brace is still attached to the guitar shall i just glue it back anyways

  • Third Coast rocks! They repaired some massive dings in my Ibanez and it looks great!

  • sorry. i posted taht when i just baught the guitar. i was way excited. anyway. it is a neat guitar and i love the instrument. there's a real crappy unedited redcording on my videos of my sister and i playing a song in which i use my h165. it sounds very nice in real life and when i play live the crowd loves the sound and the look. its a real pleaser

  • Not true at all really. There is a WIDE variety of Harmony guitars. A lot of them suck. Some of them are good--especially the jumbos. In fact, some of the Rockets and similar electrics are sought after instruments. They were inexpensive and they are not pre-war Martins but they never used laminates--are all solid wood. You just have to pick one up and try.
