@graywolf1980 Travis "Doc" Crittenden was my gradfather, grandmother Hazel. (we called her "Ha")

My connection to the Crittenden's is thru my 2nd Great Grandmother, Lucinda Crittenden, daughter of Riley J Crittenden and Martha Bertwell of Colbert Co. This is all way back in the 1800's.

Not sure back then. These days they hit the dealers early. It may be. A new 49 Ford in Oct 48. They were a big deal as the fat fenders were now flush with the doors and had no running boards.

Aren't there a couple of cars from the early 50's in there?

Very good link to the past, thought I might see my grandparents...but didn't

The lite blue"shoebox" Ford with the white walls at :34 came out in 49. Another one at 1:34. And the Ford "woodie" at 2:21 could be the same 49 model.

The 1949 models would have come out in late 1948, right?
