I have investigated Pets Paradise Midland Perth for a year, fought for the prisoners of profit held & found little success. Stopping them seems impossible 'BREEDERS CONFIDENTIAL' Now, a new owner is coming, people of Perth & Australia, if you don't like what you see, stop supporting pet stores & start supporting Oscar's Law! Most registered breeders of specific breeds have requirements that their pups they sell must not be bred from. Yet i have seen many backyard breeders using these special breeds to make $1000s of dollars from and so it goes on and this is where they end up with cross breeds from unwanted pregnancies. Many use the money to sustain their drug habits. Hopefully they bring in new laws making desexing compulsary. Dogs sold through petshops are microchipped and don't end up in the pounds.

i think you need to get your facts right before you start showing such rubbish!! half of those pictures in this video arent even from pets paradise. those animals are treated very well and i think you need to get a life and stop causing such silly drama!!

We have a local pet shop here, the confidentiality is to protect the registered breeders from people like you, who like to slander them. The breeders are under license and are vet recommended to sell. The breeders are also required to breed dogs under strict regulations which are followed and they are not inlined bred as many backyard breeders do. Yet backyard breeders without a breeders license can use their dogs as stud dogs and sell their pups for over $1000 and sell on the internet.

@Annie2010gr I've seen many lies placed up on the internet to support the extremists causes. Our local Shop in SA pets paradise also had many lies told about them. Thousands of people have bought their pets from there, yet you never here all the good. Yet i've been in that shop hundreds of times over the last 20 years and it's always kept clean and the puppies are always kept healthy and clean and well looked after. The lies i have seen told about those shops are disgraceful.

@chavrons1 The owner of PP Midland was VERY CLEAR about their policy of confidentiality due to use of NON-REGISTERED breeders. She pointed out the signage advertising to the public that she buys 'healthy' pups & kittens from private citizens. The quotes around the word 'healthy' are because many were later reported, to be UNhealthy. 1 litter was sold that were all infected with parvo,which is lethal & if the dogs were seen by a vet prior to sale this would have been noticed & more cases similar.

@chavrons1 I must respond to ONE GLARING STATEMENT here chavrons. Quote: 'Pet Shops are not charities....QUALITY REGISTERED BREEDERS NEED TO BE PAID' . You don't get the point still - PP do not use registered breeders and that is not an unfounded accusation. I was specifically told that by the previous PP Midland owner. She said 'We don't use registered breeders, they don't need to sell their dogs at a pet store that is why the breeders are confidential, because they are not registered.'

@AnimalWelfareWestAUS At the price that these pups are sold for $700 for purebreds from a quality registered breeder at the petshop, i doubt anyone on welfare or in poverty can afford to buy them. I haven't come across anyone in my community or suburb that has ever had a dog end up in the shelters. Yet the majority of dog owners i have lived with for over 30 years with my family have always well cared for the dogs. The low income earners or disreputable go for the staffy x. breeds.
