As awesome as H&O are, the band was such a huge part. GE, T-Bone, Mickey Currey...and Charlie .I remember seeing them in 85 and was just as excited that I was getting to see GE Smith Live.

@deeeecraig2 Is he in the video? I know who he is but this is fuzzy. Is that GE playing that AWESOME solo in Kiss On My List? If yes what effects is he using?

@votecoldplay They are still playing

It amazes me to look back, and realize how radical G.E. Smith's playing is on these '80's Hall and Oates tracks. Inside that glossy synth pop is shrieking feedback. Sure, he's great with a Tele, a Tweed, and no effects, but G.E. had a more playful side earlier on, and I liked it when he was less a classicist .

Even though I wasn'n alive for this band, I've grown up listening to this and other bands like them. Consequently, I can't stand the crap on the radio today. I'm so glad I was exposed to wonderful music like this.

Saw them in Austin "live in 85".....bought a flourenscent green tshirt with that logo on it from their concert. We were on the floor for that concert and it was AMAZING....wish they would go on tour here again!!!

These guys have more hits as a Duo than The Everley Brothers.

Love the song. Anyone seen Daryl Hall lately? He has actually gotten even sexier in his 60's. Amazing.

I miss the days when music like this ruled the airwaves. Today's (so-called) music sucks ass.
Maybe the most underrated American music act of the last 30 years. There was a time in the 80s when you could go to a Hall and Oates concert that was 20 songs long and half of them were number 1 songs.

Fantastic song by a truly great duo. Listening to the way this fizzes with energy and strong melody, is to be reminded of the essence of great rock and pop. The vocals and playing are tremendous, and sadly we will never see the likes of Hall and Oates again, unless we accept that most of the last twenty years of music has been poor and get back to promoting bands who can sing, write and play their own music. Wishful thinking i fear, but there's always hope.
