Accident in Choisuel

Sixteen people have been confirmed dead following a horrific automobile accident. The catastrophe occurred in the Choiseul community of Morne Sion Thursday night at approximately 7:45 pm.
Police say a bus driven by 47 year old Michael Alexander of Micoud veered off the road and plunged off a cliff into the sea.
Occupants of the bus were reportedly making their way home from a wake in the community of Delcer in Choisuel.
Prime Minister Stephenson King says the Cabinet will meet on Friday to determine how the country will remember the many lives lost in the Thursday night tragedy.
Meanwhile -- both main political parties have suspended all political activity including two major rallies that had been planned for Sunday -- the ruling United Workers Party was scheduled to meet in Choiseul and the Saint Lucia Labour Party in Dennery.

First of all i want to say R.I.P to those who lost there lives in this accident and may God be with you second to those who lost of a love one in this accident my prayers and sympathy go to you as well.

i have family in st. lucia and i am a st. lucian by blood through my parents this could have happen to any one my parents were in st. lucia back in april of 2011 i just want to say may God be with you all and big love to my people in St. Lucia. You will always be in prayers <3

first of all my heart goes out to all the people left suffering from this . but when i see a container truck full with goods speeding in the tunnel road, taking over 4 cars just to make a trip not even caring about the bus half full with people on the other side of the road coming towards him. i thing .why? why was there 17+ people on a 14 sitter bus . WHY? everyone wants to race after a dollar and they forget that they work to maintain life not to end it.
