Part III - American Samoa (Samoa with traffic jams). In March 2009 five of our family and a friend cruised on the Pacific Dawn out of Sydney Australia to Savusavu Fiji, Samoa, American Samoa, Dravuni Island, Port Denarau, Port Vila Vanuatu and Lifou New Caledonia. The cruise was arranged by Saizen Tours and we hired vehicles at the larger stopovers to explore the country side. I compiled this video and added lots of hints and recommendations.

  • Thanks Folks, great video. The last time we went to American Samoa was in 1982, when they had the cable car. & we watched your other videos on Pacific Dawn, we are booked on this ship next May, it will be great when we have that ship in Brisbane. The Pacific Sun is really bad compared to this ship. Thanks again.

  • I have friends from Samoa and the Tsunami has been a real tragedy but should be cleaned up before you go to American Samoa. Funny thing and you will see this as a big change since your last visit - the USA gave American Samoa villagers huge grants to help rebuild after a similar problem a number of years back and they all went out and purchased big new American Chevy pickups! The place is like a parking lot compared to Samoa. Its still just as beautiful and so is its people. Enjoy.
