First of all, the past is the past. Humanity in general has done some sick shit. You have the freedom to say this country has no freedom. Therein lies the fault in your logic. Sure, this country's government is corrupt, sure its people have grown apathetic, but this is not the doing of America, this has always been in every nation

You seem to ignore something, America is an ideal, not a country.
