What could be more San Antonio than Randy Garibay singing "I went down Nogolitos, looking for some Barbacoa and Big Red?" What could depict San Antonio's musical heritage better than a commemorative mural project paying homage to the lives of San Antonio based musicians? The colorful, wonderfully detailed, mural located at 1303 West Commerce Street, was created by the talented artists at San Anto Cultural Arts--their 37th mural/public art project.

  • I remember Randy when he played w/DellKings or Markays? in the 1960's..then he dissappeared from SA to Las Vegas where he played for years, returning to SA years later and started giging here again..had he stayed in SA he would have been known by many generations old and young, not just the old ones who still remember him, kids in SA today know who Sunny & Sunliners,Royal Jesters and others are, they'll tell you, my parents used to dance to their records at home..
