Alan and Ross are puzzled when Carrie behaves oddly. Amanda watches as Jennifer and Mark announce their marriage to Morgan, Kelly, Hope, and the others.
Alan and Ross were friends? I guess that fizzed out around 1983, because I read that Alan tried to sabortage Ross's campaign by planting cocaine in his car.
I liked this Alan, because not everyone in Springfield dislike him well up until a certain period. I liked Ron Raines as Alan also, but no one in Springfield liked Alan by those days.
That scene with Alan and Carrie is just insane, and insanely entertaining. If only GL had kept Carrie around, her personality in the scene with Alan would have fit right in with the Pam Long era of GL.
Someone MUST have the highlights of Carrie's multiple personality story...Doug Marland also did the same theme on "Loving" (with Lily, as played by Jennifer Ashe), and on ATWT (with Royce Keller, as played by Terry Lester)...he did the multple personality story best with Carrie, though...I didn't even see it coming (afterall, I was 13 years old)!!
I still hate the later retro-rewrite when Alan was turned into Amanda's half-brother instead of being her father. I know this was after Carrie attacked Ross (in early May 1982), but I'm a little confused how soon this was to when Carrie would be carted off to the asylum in England?
@coolwafferman Alan wanted Trish Lewis, and Ross had her.

@Motown65 Esp considering Jennifer was 17 when Amanda was born.

Yeah I thought that was a bad move when the writers changed Amanda to Alan's sister instead of her daughter.
