this song was one of my introductions to the DMB some years ago and the more I listened the more I understood what it was about. Anyone that doesn't like this song or this band for that matter might need therapy or an epiphany or something, damn! This is the way music is supposed to be played. No one can touch them. NO ONE!

The magic of this song comes from pulling you into feeling sorry for the poor soul of this sad girl, and then leaving us with the slow realization that we all stare out on to grey streets. I feel all alone like everyone else in this world and enjoy the color and light when I realize we're all experiencing the same existence in search of the little things that make us happy in life. I'm still an optimist and taking my paintbrush to the street tomorrow and painting it gold. Help wanted.
