A dance from a ball held to celebrate the Battle of Arroyo dos Molinos, with the Leicestershire Victorian Dancers. Music from the Pride and Prejudice Collection, Volume one.
A Maggot is 'a whim' or 'a fancy'. So this was probably commisioned by Lord Byron. Almost certainly William Byron as the relevant dates show that the 3rd and 4th Barons were both called William. How confusing! Not as confusing as the owners of Lyme Park, Cheshire, who between 1399 and 1642 were all called Piers Legh - 10 of them!

It's not very nice that you have a dance to celebrate the fact that Lord Byron only had a maggot.
