For someone so supposedly "shambolic" Peter exerts complete control over his band , speeding and slowing the tempo at will; and shows that he has the audience in the palm of his hand. So, while his life sometimes seems out of control, when he's on stage all that life force appears to be in sync with his talent. He just radiates his love of what he does, and people cannot but respond to that.

Peter strikes me as someone who just wants to do his own thing. If you watch his 24 hour thing hen seems like someone who enjoys the simple things. Smoking a cigarette in a sun light room on a rocking chair pleases him. I think sometimes he wishes he was the only person on earth so he could just do his own thing, i know i wish that sometimes
