    I know lots of guys who think they can play tenor like this but they can't. This spirit sound is elusive. Even though this harkens back to John Coltrane, it is really rare to capture this in the same way it's difficult to capture the true spirit of Beethoven as a pianist. This is deep and beautiful: World class. One of the best anywhere, no question.

    Great musician, indeed. I hope to hear more and more from this trio. In the 2008 Don Cherry tribuite seen in Europe he was pretty strong.
