@aerialkate I'm American and prefer British humor (except for the toilet stuff, but we have plenty of stuff here in the states as well). I also prefer women comedians to the men!

It's making fun of British people idealising America - not really making fun of Americans, although I'm annoyed that when American posters comment on anything British, some smug, aggressive Brit always seems compelled to write something like: "You don't get our humour/goes right over your head/dumb yanks!" ad ****king nauseum.
