I had an 08 Altima which the 16th of last month I had a wreck and this car saved me, I did have a broken femur, fractured knee and fractured ankle but I'm able to see my little girl every day and I'll be back on my feet in a couple months. Great cars... Not to mention I work at the Smyrna plant lol.

Well I'm assuming this is the 4 cylinder version? Does the results apply to the 6 cylinder Altima aswell?

actually i am driving a 2011 altima with the 2.5 and it has all sorts of power. its a very efficent car.

@Hybridlancer2000 Just to let you know, the IHSA did several tests and performed thorough investigations into every one the of the unintended acceleration instances, and found that in EVERY CASE of "no-cause" unintended acceleration, it was the driver bearing down the throttle when the meant to press the brake. Your aunt's case was probably no different: just a common mistake people make when they panic.

@Hybridlancer2000 Yeah a prius? A camry can beat a Altima. Its just the drivers who drives the camry don't care all about it. I am not saying the camry is the shit. I know for a fact that my 99 camry isn't the best car in the world. But don't ever say you want a prius over a camry. Drive one trust me. I work at a rental car place at the airport. And I have driven the Altima, Camry, Optima, accords and most cars there. I have driven the shit out of them. There is no winner but camry seem better

What the fuck. I'd rather have some teeth missing than for my head to hit a steering wheel at 40mph. If you didn't have an airbag and you hit a car at 40 mph you'd probably lose all your teeth; therefore airbags are better than hitting a damn steering wheel. smfh;
