Engine now mounted lower in the chassis, front and rear overhangs are shorter (for quicker direction changes - important for rallying), longer wheelbase, even wider fender flares compared to the previous sedan model, new multilink IRS, more Horsepower, Variable Valve Timing on BOTH intake and exhaust sides (Dual AVCS = better tuning potential), as well as the potential to have 3 different "custom" selectable maps via Si Drive... This is the BETTER WRX STi whether you like the looks or not.

yeah i've seen a few new sti's and i was ONCE like all those that hate the looks......BUT im REALLY startin to get use to it! i love the quad-exhaust as well.

I didn't like the normal Impreza, both sedan and hatch. But the STI really looks good (except for the tail lights) with those big scoops and spoiler.

grow up people. hatchbacks got better performance than sedan. this subi is great.

funny how all of you guys hating on this car haven't said anything about the performance. you're really missing out on a beautiful car inside and out just because it looks different. your loss. you guys probably wouldn't use the car for what it was made for anyway...
