And the wierd thing is, this guy KNOWS how stupid the No True Scotsman fallacy is, and he's STILL trying to justify it.

And I'm almost certain this is the same guy who was riding a unicycle in a VFX video.

Because they want oh so badly to believe that they too were uneducated at one time, and gulible, until they educated and enlightened themselves to shake off the fairytale beliefs.

I know you want so badly to believe this, but this is just not true.

God's word say's what it takes in Romans 10:9-10 to be a true Christian.

You must confess with your mouth, ( here is the key you are missing) and believe in your heart.

This Christian logic amounts not only to the No True Scotsman fallacy, but to circular reasoning.

Atheist: The fact that Christians deconverted speaks against the idea that Christianity is the One True Religion

Christian: No true christian deconverts!

Atheist: Okay then: the fact that there's fake christians speaks against Christianity.

To rephrase their argument: "No Christian who never deconverted has ever deconverted."

(Deconversion is a like time travel: it undoes your past Christianness)
