In Maui [east side], near 'Ohe'o Gulch
Pipiwai Trail is almost 2 miles each way and your hike will take you 2.5 to 5 hours. Around 2/3 miles into the hike is Makahiku Falls with a 200 ft drop. Back on the trail, you'll go thru a gate. Remember intersection for way back. After the Banyan tree, you can take a side trail to one of the louder waterfalls you'll find. It free falls and smacks onto the rocks, then runs into an emerald green pool that has undercut the mountain, forming a cave. You can see more of the falls by following the rock steps to the right.
More diversions include a pool at least a football field long. Then a pair of bridges that enable you to cross a the stream that you've been following.
Onto through the bamboo forest.
Mostly spring fed 400 ft Waimoku Falls.
Very well done. Congrats on the production. It is a beautiful and epic place and you displayed it nicely.

My wife and I have been here, August 2007. Fantastic hike with a big payoff at the end! The bamboo forest was absolutely enchanting in the quiet with the wind blowing.
