What the fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why cant these "wizards" just make an
exact copy of the '59'!!???!!!
Why do people have to change
shit??!!??
-
normally the longer neck tennon gives you more sustain and neckstrength, but the other ones are not exactly 'bad' or something

Am i the only one that noticed the fact that the historic neck was made of a much lighter coloured mahogany, much like the african mahogany they used back in the day. I med that makes a difference too...

Hi - I have a Les Paul Custom custom Shop model from year 2000. It is in an Historic case. Serial number is CS 0232. I have asked Gibson for information etc but they are useless. Can you say if my guitar is a Historic model and if so what year is it based on?

cool, so which one is better??? or what are the character of each???

PLEASE make a video with the right Les Paul Custom :D!!!

The long tenon neck of the reissues les pauls increase the sustain.
Yes " more wood to wood connection" and loads more sustain ( and no lightness cavities drilled in the body) That's why the VOS re-issues and the Historic original Les Pauls sound so much better than the modern guitars
