The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure met on May 19, 2010 to examine the circumstances surrounding the spill of crude oil from the well site in the Gulf of Mexico where the Deepwater Horizon, a mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU), had been drilling. Among other issues, the Committee will examine the Coast Guard's work with the Minerals Management Service (MMS) and other Federal agencies to implement regulations governing the management of offshore oil production facilities.

  • I love how the bureaucrats are great at pointing the finger after the fact! When in fact it's the bureaucrats that take the the corporate oil money and allow the oil drilling..
