The Sonata No 3 Op.58 in its fourth movement "Rondo" of great strength, bursts with eight bars of extraordinary density preceding the main theme, passionate and fiery. Movement wealth superb rhythmic, melodic and harmonic.
Rafal Blechacz masterfully played this sonata, as the great pianists already consecrated...(and think he was just doing his presentation to the Chopin Competition)

  • Can't be better!!

  • @ctthyde829 With your comments brief and precise, you have summarized everything ... A greeting ...

  • Rondo??

    Presto non tanto

  • @anonymousQ45 Totally agree. It was a transcription error

  • love the minute 3:36 !!! wonderful

  • @d4ni3lschi4v0 I agree with you! That is one of the most sublime moments of this movement, and where Rafal lee excellent transition to become the main theme, accompanied by powerful arpeggios (6x2). Although all the work is interpreted notably, other points cusps could be: Initially, between 00:30 and 00:40, in 2:45, in 3:10, where the chromatic give way to a furious descending arpeggio (must be one of the best), and the final Staccato, at the 05:00 What more could you want?

  • @ctthyde829 How about Gilels.

  • doesn't this resemble one of his third or fourth scherzos?correct me if i'm wrong...

  • his rubatos are just PERFECT. more than Chopin himself probably could've hoped for.

  • have a lot of key errors, but the music it´s absolutely exceptional

  • ...maybe too smooth and somewhat impersonal, I would want Blechacz to show more of himself (what would that mean?) in this already impersonal and bombastic movement...

  • Totally smooth, and really perfect, I can never do this!!

  • @A8opi When the competition was held, he was just 20, now he is 26 yrs old.
