  • The link for more info is not working. Furthermore, the aspect ratio of the video causes eye cancer. Not very professional BD...

    that's just how it's presented. at 0:45 you see the left rope going down and the right one upwards.. so on the right end of the rope should be the climber coming up... and as you said, if he falls the system will lock itself.

  • otherwise the rising option doesnt really makes sense

  • rope is pulled through wrong way round, isnt it? the end the climber is attaached to should be on top, so that it squeezes the other end down in case of fall.
