Spiral Knights - Lord Vanaduke - Party Victory

A successful victory against Lord Vanaduke deep within the Firestorm Citadel with a 4-man party. Two members, including myself, have defeated Vanaduke before, but the other two were first timers.

I personally used my Leviathan Blade (Lvl10) to inflict fast and hard damage during the stages I could, and my Argent Peacemaker (Lvl9) to short-range him while avoiding taking damage.
My armor consisted of Vog Cub Coat & Cap, and a Grey Owlite Shield.
I died about three times during this battle, but never once had to spend energy to revive myself.

Hi! This seems the latest Vanaduke video so I hope it an updated one :) I have a question then.. what type of damage he does when u got hit by his mace? I heard rumors about all normal, normal/elmental and even normal/shadow. Could you help me with that? Also in his all mask phase he does all elemental I guess?

@69Yosiel69 Yes, this video was taken after the latest update to Vanaduke (that I'm aware of). I'm actually not sure if there's a specific damage type he deals to you in each phase, I simply use the Vog Cub set for it's fire resistance, since those are the main concerns when dealing with lava, flame attacks, and fire balls. I guess having an armor with an overall good normal defense would help, but I strongly recommend something fire resistant.

@RMG4646 Cool thx for responding! This is my problem I havo to make a new set 4 vanaduke, and I don't quite like the full vog cub set, so I was thinking in this options: a Mix between Set of the Fallen and Vog Cub or Divine Set (some Magic 5* path) Wich one would u choose?

@69Yosiel69 Well, since there's no specific damage type from Vanaduke, I would focus on armor that has fire resistance and defense against Undead monsters, since there are a lot of those on the way to Vanaduke. With that being said, the Undead family inflicts Shadow damage, so an armor with Fire Resistance and good Shadow Defense will work. So I'd go for the Divine Mantle/Veil.

@RMG4646 Thx for answering.. Now that I clic to subscribe you I realize you are the same guy I looked bfore to see RT solo's, lol. Hey do u think that the Scuttlebots in there can also be bugged like the Slag Walkers in Vanaduke? It seems that you're the right guy to ask that since u made that depth17 your Holiday Inn ;)
