Everyone always says this about artists. Same stuff is said about Nas, and other classic artists. Artists (and people, for that matter) evolve... Kanye is the best example of this. His evolution has been incredible... You aren't really human if you stay the same all the way throughout life...

i feel sad and good when i hear this cause i was vistin my grandma in the hospital in detriot cause she had a brain tumor and i was on my way to the airport from the hospital and this song came on and i thought that might have been the last time i saw my grandma and it was r.i.p grandma sorry icouln't go to yo funeral it was on my b-day party and we allready made reservations and every hting but i wanted to i love you sommer bryant
