1993 saw the crumbling of SBK records and the fumbling of yet another SAW/PWL masterpiece in its attempt to crack the American market.
Originally intended for Donna Summer's aborted follow-up to "Another Place & Time", Lonnie makes it her own and in turn created an underground club smash and pop misfire that deserves another look.

the best!
I'm just not sure that Donna could have done such a great a
job wth this song as Lonnie has, despite the massive talent
that she also has and indeed displayed with the fabulous
album In Another Place And Time just prior to this classic
gem being released!
It still would have been nice to have heard Donna sing it as
well though.

@sydders03 i can not resist answering your comment to say how much i understand what you say... oh yes, this was my era too, and yes i used to throw myself all over the dance floor... especially when they played this very song, which remains one of my very favourite of all times... I also cannot resist saying how much... inspired i was by the choreography on the video, and did my best to catch the rythme trying to shake my body as there... And then, the "black" invasion started!...

I thought Donna passed up on this track because she doesn't like to sing about love gone bad. Lonnie kicked this one out of the park though, this original version is beyond supreme. Love it.
