Hey guys, I know many of you have requested that I go over the picking pattern in the beginning of the song... I don't think I really should because Thom does it differently every time. Not only that, but it will be good practice for you who are learning to train your ears... The chord shape doesn't really change so just give it your best shot. I don't mean to be a withholding jerk, but I hope you guys (and girls) will see it as a challenge that will make you a stronger guitarist.

I don't understand the point of tuning the "A string" to B. It sounds fine in Drop D.

@yasseford Can't play the final section without uptuning A to B. Need that minor third between the 5th and 4th strings. Check out the video this was uploaded in response to.
