Jonny isn't officially kicked out of DGD, he's just off the tour and Matt is the fill in singer along with Kurt Travis too. Source is Dance Gavin Dance's official facebook, he is NOT out of dgd yet

@lubbenz He just uses the same tone every song he is in. I know dozens of singers who don't have his range but are WAY more unique than him. Don't get me wrong, "Downtown Battle Mountain" and "Relativity" are phenomenal albums, but that was back when Jonny was actually trying.
