Francis speaks of the phone company running fiber optic cable to replace the old stuff, well, it's June 2009, and it hasn't happened the way it was predicted....even 6 years ago, tech shows talked about fiber optic being the way to go...investing in them etc. I even remember General Haig hosting a hip program on the weekend and saying fiber optic would be the way...so what happened?

At the very end Coppola is actually predicting the advent of the Internet and services such as YouTube! Amazing!

What year was this? late 80s/early 90s? Pre-digital-storage/restoration, obviously. What good were those old computers ya see in the video, at the time, really haha Oh well-- he and Scorcese had the right idea, and would advocate film restoration to this day.... interesting video.
