No matter how far you are from your nearest neighbor, if you live in the United States or Europe, UPS can deliver to your address. UPS can deliver to 80 percent of the planet within 48 hours, so if you live somewhere else, it's still pretty likely that UPS can find you to drop off or pick up packages. That's a lot of addresses -- and a lot of packages. In fact, in 2005, UPS delivered 3.75 billion packages and letters. That's more than one package for every two people in the entire world.

  • @sweetjoel24 by the time Fedex hits the 100 year mark, UPS will have even more volume. i dont know if you ever saw that UPS commercial were the guy says UPS delivers more packages on time then anyone else. Fedex cant touch that. we are always trying to make our service better and better.

  • I have to say that as a business user, we've liked FedEx better than UPS for three major reasons.

    1. FedEx was drastically less expensive than UPS.

    2. We've have a high volume of package damages with UPS. I've even seen them throw/drop packages at our door. So far only one damaged package from FedEx.

    3. FedEx is more lenient on weight/dimensional discrepancies.

I will say that FedEx is annoying when it comes to supply ordering.

  • it's very nice

  • @MegaSam8888 Not saying it's impossible but from all my experience the quality control is lacking. It's just a fact that the less times your package meets somebodies hands the more likely it is to arrive without issue. It's hard to make a 4 hour part time minimum wager give a damn, IMO. From the driver perspective, I'd say UPS is a much better culture with it's union and benefits, if you ever get to become a driver...

  • @Entar0 So having machines that put people out of work is better?

  • I switched over from UPS to Fed Ex a couple years ago. Having a lot better time with Fed Ex in general. They use machines in their sorting facilities instead of minimum wage package handlers, barely have any damages on my fed ex stuff as compared to the UPS shipments.

  • Wait if they said 2 business days and they send it to me on friday, it will arrive on monday right???

  • ups sucks i ordered a gun 9 days ago and havent got it bullcrap

  • I have a hot package
