  • (1) Well Jesus drunk wine and the jewish as well to observe parties. They actually practiced judaism which is the best and healthier religion in the existence. God gave them teachings on any single area. If they'd be all alcoholic, they'd probalby dispappeared long time ago from the world. Drinking way has a significance that western people misunderstand, and is ONE cup of wine...

  • @Jiaarhud My point exactly, as I specified overdrinking and not just a little at 4:48. I had just said I'd gotten careless in the past and wanted to try and make amends to those who have seen me make light of it. Don't think I'm condemning drinking altogether. Some people are coming across that way to ME.

  • i thought this was about being drunk in the Holy Ghost , sister get rid of that alcohol which is the devil's counterfeit and get into the real wine from heaven... get drunk in the spirit, begin drinking God's wine by act of faith as if you are drinking an invisible glass of wine and see how His Love which is manifested in drunkeness and joy do it as an act of faith and see what happens PS 116:13 cup of salvation Song of Sol 5:1 i have drunk my wine... drink abundantly :)

  • @lex7100 So what you are saying is Jesus turned water into the devil's counterfeit? That's what I'M picking up here. Nowhere does the bible explicitly forbid drinking any wine whatsoever; it only forbids getting drunk. Wine is used many times for medicinal benefits or (very respectfully and responsibly) for celebration, i.e. Jesus at the wedding at Cana. I respect your personal conviction to stay away from alcoholic drinks altogether, but please do not pass judgment me or others.

  • Dear Sister, the Lord knows your heart and He hears your repentance concerning this. Continue to seek Him and I know He will bless you! He is coming very soon!!

  • @GoldenHighway I'd count the days down if I could!

  • think I understood where you were going with this, sounds like your conscience was talking a bit :)

  • (3) People said, "well, all in excess is bad". TRUE! If we eat too much, we get obese, blood problems, heart problems, etc., if we drink too much we get unconsious, lose neurons, lost control, kill someone, etc. BUT if we do not EAT we'll die!!! BUT if we don't drink WE WON'T die!! Actually we'll live healthier and better : ) GOD BLess YOu!

  • (2) mediterranean tradition teches wine over food and good for the heart (also paul said so), and i know it since i have italian heritage, i raised and borned in a family that doesn't practice those traditions, but just on parties, and to get drunk. If i'd drink wine I KNOW it wouldn't be to observe (cos' is not my culture), nor along with food (i'm not italian, i rather got a coffee cup after it), and if i drink i rather get a soda or water. I KNOW, and GOD KNOWS AS WELL.

  • Drinking also presents a temptation that one ordinarily would not have, so it is best to not to give place to the enemy..
