I think you are not owner of this kit with this car or another one.I have this kit with Seat Ibiza 6J 1,4 (85HP) if you look into airbox from factory you can look a lot of angles and filtration place which is not very big.You have right you can give hot air from engine but more like original airbox.Well hot or cold air but important is not only temperature but capacity of air also!If you look some dyno charts from other cars with specific open kits you can look temperature
