To me it resembles the feelings of kids with different physical defections and that they get abused by other kids and forced to live in their own world to flee from reality - this is resembled by the bubbles. The song is about how these kids flee from reality instead of staying in their bubbles and thus the bubble is shattered in the video. The "grownup" faces are to resemble the need to grow up at a young age thus the child bodies/adult faces.
