While making final preparations for the John Calvin at 500 Tour, Douglas Bond and daughter, Brittany, visited the famous St. Sulpice on Sunday evening, June 28th, 2009 for the organ concert, Franck's Chorale in E, played by Sophie-Véronique Choplin. Reflecting on Calvin's love of sola gratia and solus Christus, the high octane sacramentalism made Reformation seem all the more important for today.

  • Franck's Chorale in E, played by Sophie-Véronique Choplin (according to St-Sulpice's web site).

A pity you couldn't record the whole thing, but still: thanks for sharing SVC's beautiful playing with us.

Did you also record the improvisation that followed?
