  • Ah yes Year One was the first mature Batman title i read when i was 13 with Killing Joke about 17 years ago and loved them. This animated film was quite good. But the comic and this movie has the least attractive version of Catwoman who is bald and swimming in diseases since she is a hooker, give me other versions of her anytime. You should review other animated comic book movies like Akira for example.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yes, Year One and Killing Joke are great comics. I think Killing Joke is my personal favorite Batman story. I did plan on reviewing Akira. I love that movie, but I got sidetracked. Maybe I will in the future.

Do you agree Catwoman in the comic is the least attractive? she's too much like Sinead O'Conner even as a hooker swimming in STDs

  • @Johnlindsey289 In Bataman: Year One, perhaps. But, it depends on which version. In the current comics she is very sexy.

  • @Johnlindsey289 I agree. I would love to see those movies. They did have a Shazam movie. But, it was just a short not a full lenght movie.

Ah yes the first mature readers comic title i read when i was 12 when i looked at my city's comic stores and read it, loved it and blew my mind away.

  • @toekneebeeears

My fave is Mask of the Phantasm then Under the Red Hood, Sub Zero, this one, Justice League Crisis on Two Earths and Batman Beyond Return of the Joker. They should do animated movies based on Vertigo titles like Sandman and Swamp Thing to DC like Plastic-Man and Shazam

  • @sfighter991 Ah, cool. Killing Joke is my favorite Batman stories.

  • I recently got the book and read it sometime ago and really enjoyed it. And for Christmas I got "Batman:The Killing Joke".

  • I bought this movie over the weekend and just watched it tonight, and you were right. I loved the animation in this movie, very well done. It's got me interested in buying the graphic novel and reading it. I actually wrote a 3 part review on my own comments page (with some typos). Good Review.
