Some of these kids are in it because they have been bullied before and the parents want them to be able to stand up for themselves. Some of them are in it for the fitness training. Some are in it to learn self discipline. ALL of them are in it to learn self-defense. That being said, how wrong is it?

if we as a society can look at a video where a 5-10 in some cases even as young as 3 year olds are in competitions choking each other out then i dont know.. it has nothing to do with self defense or discipline.. its disgusting!  in a real martial art you learn harmony with everyone and everything around you inner strength spiritual growth its supposed to elevate you on many levels... but throwing this mma and submission crap at little kids is not the way...
