On a simple black backdrop I give you the product of many hours of listening, learning, recording and mixing over this past weekend. It's one of those songs that as a musician you go: "man, I wish I wrote that!" and it actually surprises me that nobody out there on youtube has covered this song yet. i can only hope i did it some justice for the first go 'round.
This is my "tip-of-the-hat" to Jack Johnson and his (very underrated) band for making this absolutely killer groove - Red Wine, Mistakes, Mythology. They wont shred your face off, but I challenge you not to tap your foot to their tunes!

@BTumelty haha I did that with real version of this song when it first came out, I just replayed it over and over and over again! Gotta love it when you find a song you like THAT much... and I appreciate that this cover is one of those songs for you! Enjoy and thanks so much!

Thank you for putting this together I have been using it to practice this song for a band preformance class and can only begin to tell you the help it has been especially with no vocals so i can practice those on my own as well.
