When a cover reaches a certain point of artistic value, or more specially, lack of same ~ it simply becomes "camp." This album cover is, plain & simple, CAMP.
searching for songs from The Cyrkle, came across this and one good thing came out of it, I saw a listing for this song done by Anne Murray, loved her version.
George Harrison didn't sing lead on very many of the Beatles' recordings but this is one song that he did and it was one of my favorites. The song was originally released as part of the Hard Day's Night sound track. Don't Bother Me was another good Beatles' song that George say lead on.
This is one of the coolest songs I've come across in a long time. Obviously, I'm familiar with the Beatles' version, but I like this one better because of the bizarre chord arrangement. It really throws you a curve ball. I wish I would have come across this back during my hallucinogenic days!
This album "Neon" a great album every cut ruled as i love this cover /tremendous cover better than the Beatles thanx 4 posting!

Pretty much murdered the melody. Amazingly the harmonies still sound good, but off key is off key. lol.

.....deservedly belongs in the list of 10 worst covers of all time.
Not as bad as Shatner's "Tambourine Man" but comes close.....
