I gotta say, I've been an Iowa fan since I was a kid. I've lived out of the state for awhile now, and when ISU loses people say, "Your boys lost." I used to tell them, "That ain't my team. No self-respecting Iowan likes the Cyclones." I tell you what. I've stopped following the Hawkeyes. Their conduct and such has been disappointing over the last few years. The Clones may not win every game, but Paul Rhoads is the best thing to happen to football in the state. You can't help but love that guy.

I'm an Iowa fan, but Iowa State is a damn good football team and Rhoads is an extremely good coach. Texas never even showed up and Iowa State took complete advantage.

@shonkakoolaide I'm just glad TEXAS was able to beat one of the teams up north. Thank God for nebraska. Look on the bright side. With Michigan and Ohio State poised for down years, at least you should finish 4th in the big 10. That's better than most years you had in the Big IX.

I was VERY impressed with the way Coach Rhoads handled himself after the tough loss to Utah a couple of weeks... He makes it very easy for an "outsider" to root for his success and for the Cyclones.... Congrats and Go Clones!!

Rhoads is a damn good coach and is a perfect fit for ISU.
