  • Why do you always go straight from what looks like 4th to 6th gear at the bottom of that hill and then go right back into 4th for the next turn? e.g. 4:34 and 4:41

Why not just leave it in 4th or just go up to 5th and come back down?

just curious... also other comments are saying it is a 5-speed car, but it definitely looks like you go into a 6th gear

  • @averyncvc - it is a 5-speed w/ a dogleg shift pattern. 1st gear is down and to the left. Laguna Seca has ridiculously low sound limits measured from a booth between Turns 5 & 6.

  • This is some of the best driving I've ever seen

You attacked the corkscrew with more bravery & skill than I can muster in Gran Turismo 4

  • Damn good driving! And very nice heel-toe technique!

  • lol, people on roebling road upshift just before the sound meter near the blend line also.

  • @aBBlade1 After a few laps you're able to judge the turn-in with more precision than one can imagine without actually doing it. My first time at LS I was on a bike. Needless to say that first time over the hill, looking at grass (which is what you see if you're not looking left in anticipation of the turn) was a real clincher.

  • stupid question maybe...is that bone stock ?

  • that corkskrew looks like a pain in the ass to handle, a blind hill into a drop. how do you go about driving that section?

  • Whats up with no one accelerating up the hill???

  • future that is the best comment ever

  • That sound... You sir, have a bitchin car.

  • to heck with Italian stuff.

    Ill Take german anytime, anywhre.

    wundabar.
