the kid was facing jailtime & heavy fines but ended up with none. i beleive it was in exchange for not bringing the rights violations into court

Here are the facts. The Q&A was announced to be over & Meyer got mad that he wasn't going to get to ask a question, started yelling at Kerry & pushing his way to the mic. He was confronted by ACCENT, the group that sponsored the forum, & Police & was ordered to leave. He refused to do so. That's Disturbing the Peace &, under Fl law, Trespassing. He was being physically removed..cont..)

ACCENT & Police chose to honor that request but that did NOT mean that he was immune from forum rules & it did NOT mean that the Police were to just forget about his earlier, ILLEGAL, actions. Prior to speaking at the mic the Police told him that they were going to need to speak to him after his question & he was reminded about the forum rules. Those rules were:ONE question per person(he ..cont..)

He made a second attempt to get away at the back of the room & was taken to the ground where he CHOSE to ignore REPEATED orders to stop resisting even AFTER being warned he'd be "tased" if he didn't comply. He brought it all on himself by his illegal actions & idiotic decisions that day.
