This is a video response to GSP's video, Fan Fitness Challenge: One Arm Pull Up
I should have also mentioned in the video, that I don't overtrain on this. I try to stress my muscles only a little bit so that I can feel I've worked out but not really sore. I find I have the best chance of doing a one arm pull up after I have trained for a few days in a row, and then take a couple of days off. Then the following day when I have no soreness at all and I am completely fresh, that is when I have my best chance of getting my chin over the bar.

  • Also...nice set up you got there. That gymnist move you do at the end. I've seen GSP do that also. That has to be great for strenght training.

  • @knossis1 That move at the end is called a muscle-up. They are my favourite exercie, they're almost a full uper body exercise, triceps, biceps, chest and back all in the one exercise. I always feel pumped after doing them.

  • Sick dude, did GSP reply to you?

  • @MMAoracle Thanks mate. No I didn't get a reply.

  • the stuff u are doing with ur bodyweight is awesome man. How many years are u training like this ? And are u doing weightlifting exercises beside bodyweight ones ?

  • @Tehshtevan REPLY2 ... exercise you can do, trap bar deadlifts, they work you in a way that body weight exercises can't replicate.

  • neat set up champ i would love to try n make something like that but seeing that yur n aussie you can just cum ova n d it for me...legenddddd

  • Very strong and perfect form: excellent!

  • Aren't you worried about falling on that weight stand when it's hanging under you? Looks like an accident waiting to happen >_<

  • Don't use your legs, keep your legs down then do one. Try it by gripping your forearm with the other hand, that's how we did them in the Marine Corps. We had to get our legs down though, we couldn't bring them up like that.

  • @Tehshtevan reply 2 : , and with the weightlifting exercises i would only stick with the deadlift ,squat , military press and such basic strenght exercises(hope that program will make me more explosive with more agile strenght then the brute one ). again thanks for the reply i and i hope to see more from you !
