It was nice to see and hear the epic "$299" announcement for the first time. Such 90's nostalgia! The first time I saw a picture of the PlayStation was when I flipped through an issue of TV Guide before my Television Production class started.

Man...to think that for 6-7 years after this keynote, the original Playstation would literally change the video game industry. Sony, developers and consumers (especially me) were up for a great time in gaming history.

The lightning and graphics are much better in the final version than the CG trailer. There are lots of comparison videos, check it out. ;)
