The DSA do definately have quotas. I failed my 1st test with 1 minor and not really sure what I did wrong. 2nd test was an awful drive really messed up and yet I passed. I think it helps going early.

@DNIWEO I trained to be an instructor, but gave up as the test fees were going up far too often. In half a year the test fee for an ADI practical went up by 33%. When I did my class 2 HGV, the examiner I had made me nervous. He was what I call a typical examiner, one that talks with a monotone and always reminds you of a much hated head master. So is it any wonder the process of a driving test is feared by many? I heard test fees are partly used to fund DSA officials' trips and perks.

@DNIWEO The DSA are bastards and have only one motivation. To make money. Too amny fat cats calling the shots.

I passed! I passed! 5 minors only hehe. im gonna get ma car now! thank yall for the advice and encouragement.

i didnt pass. however, my driving was perfect. i had no minors at all. the reason why i failed, a bus driver cut infront of me as he was in the wrong lane which caused me to stop at the traffic light with 12 inches of the rear of my car on the yellow box junction. and then, the examiner lost concentration, lol when i braked at a roundabout she just jumped and said oh you didnt see the speed sign, but i was within the limit. she just said you failed and ran. i got another test today on 12/03/10!

they just wanna make money out of us to be honest. ive seen people failed for wha isnt their faul, like you described your failing. its the bus drivers fault. you couldnt have done nothing about his decisions. i got my first one in 3 weeks!!! am dreading it.
