Where real-time strategy meets first-person shooter. Savage XR is a real-time strategy shooter (RTSS) based on the award winning multiplayer action classic Savage: The Battle for Newerth, providing an unique teambased gameplay and melee experience.

Savage combines the computer game genres FPS (first-person shooter), TPS (third-person shooter), RTS (real-time strategy) and minor aspects of RPG (role playing game) into an online only multiplayer game. As the commander in RTS mode, you will tackle resource management, develop a tech tree, plan tactical and strategic assault and lead a team of up to 64 human players into battle. As a unit in action mode, you will master melee combat, many unique weapons, powerful units, and siege vehicles to fight a fast paced battle. Aim of the game is to destroy the opponents head quarter.

@AsAManThinkith The Behemoth kills any human unit with one hit, except a Legionnaire (with armor) can block and survive his attack.

@HurlyBurly3027 so how does the fighting system works? is it just timing or buton smahsing? or is like smart fighting like with block and `parrries and sword clashes or what? im really looking for a game like that with swod clashes and parries and dodges and sword locks and that kidn of stuf

@Erik1495 The fighting system is extremely simple but extremely hard to master. It's all about mouse movements, timing, speed, reaction, positioning and stamina management.
