Sounds like he over reved it, which hurt the motor, then he did a shuffle step leaving the line, and it kicked a rod out the side, you can see the oil coming out from the engine. He got in the oil and that was it. When it flipped, his foot jammed the throttle, he didn't do it on purpose.

holly shit indeed,judging by the start line set up he was new to the car and or class,and in the split second he had to do someting positive he braked but didn't kill the engine ,then braced for the impact pushing down on the loud pedal as a reflex motion ,hence the motor guns just as he hits the wall.hpoe he was ok and rebuilt the car .

I dont think it was that track. Looks like eather an oil or fuel line broke causing the wreck. Glad the driver was ok. Hope they rebuilt

That track sucks big time, its not the drivers fault, if I had a car with half the power that car does I wouldn't even think about taking it there. No traction at all!!

He was fine. I talked to him after they got the car back to his trailer. He was actually excited to see the video and gave me a free t-shirt. lol

This track was an old airstrip, Traction has and always will be an issue here. Especially for a fuel altered
